After watching a somewhat funny DVD film about pregnancy ("Knocked Up"), I realized that I do not regret missing out on this experience, as well as that of biological motherhood. I am happy the way my life is now, where my only babies are: my mom, my cat, and my sweetness :-) not necessarily in that order of importance, ha ha. I'm not really hankering to mother anyone else... well, maybe one more cat or dog :-)


Previous notes:
Oct 9-Love will enter immediately into any mind which truly wants it, but it MUST want it truly. This means that it wants it WITHOUT ambivalence, and this kind of wanting is wholly without the ego’s “drive to get.” There is a kind of experience that is so different from anything the ego can offer that you will never recover. The word is used quite literally here– you will never be able to hide again. ("A Course in Miracles, Text, The Authentic Original Dictation," T4D12-13).
Oct 5-"The Holy Spirit IS a lesson in remembering... He teaches remembering and FORGETTING, but the forgetting aspect is only TO MAKE THE REMEMBERING CONSISTENT. You forget to REMEMBER BETTER." (Text, The Authentic Original Dictation, T 7 C 10)
Oct 4-Because God's equal Sons have everything, they CANNOT compete. But if they perceive ANY of their brothers as anything OTHER than their perfect equals, the IDEA of competition HAS entered their minds. Do not underestimate your need to be vigilant AGAINST this idea, because ALL your conflicts come FROM it. (Text, urtext, Ch. 7, sec. 5)

May 21-You are sustained by the Love of God. Here is the answer to every problem that will confront you, today and tomorrow and throughout time. In this world, you believe you are sustained by everything but God. Your faith is placed in the most trivial and insane symbols; pills, money, “protective” clothing, influence, prestige, being liked, knowing the “right” people, and an endless list of forms of nothingness that you endow with magical powers. All these things are your replacements for the Love of God. All these things are cherished to ensure a body identification. They are songs of praise to the ego. Do not put your faith in the worthless. It will not sustain you. (Adapted from Lesson 50, "A Course in Miracles" Workbook)
Dec 3-I will always remember 2010 as my REBOOT year. I can't believe I reached December 2010 in a much better state than I had expected at the start of this wondrous, healing, and surprising year! All it took for me to get here was to agree to have my heart broken first, then healed, and my dreams dashed, then renewed. Through it all, Source remained faithful and continues to be so.
Nov 2-Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma—which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Oct 21-There is a place in you where there is perfect peace. There is a place in you where nothing is impossible. There is a place in you where the strength of God abides. (From "A Course in Miracles," Workbook Lesson 47, God is the Strength in which I trust.)
Oct 19-One of the best places to practice "A Course in Miracles" has got to be places filled with people and waiting lines, like the airport. I busied myself just seeing the light in everyone my eyes would fall upon, while reminding myself, "Love is the mind with which I think."
Oct 2-I get a kick from realizing that my Multiply gets the most visits because of my recipe for pasta with aligue (crab fat). Ha ha ha ha. To think I haven't cooked this dish for years, although sometimes I order this when it's on the menu. Maybe in a parallel life I'm a famous chef or an author with a bestselling recipe book or a restaurant owner with this dish as a bestseller. Ha ha. I surely hope those who use the recipe are happy with it :-)
Jul 11-I walk with God in perfect holiness. I light the world, I light my mind and all the minds God created one with me. (A Course in Miracles Workbook Lesson 156). In Pilipino, it goes something like this: Kasama ko ang Diyos maglakad sa ganap na kabanalan. Iniilawan ko ang mundo, iniilawan ko ang isip ko at lahat ng mga isip na nilikha ng Diyos na kaisa ko.
Jun 30-Love and desire are entirely different. One can love without desire and desire without love. To master desire is the first step in loving truly.
Jun 19-Many thanks to those who responded almost immediately to the call to take the Higher Self/Pagbubukas meditation :-) it is time for humanity to collectively move forward in its spiritual growth, and the astro weather for the rest of the year is so conducive for this "celestial speedup." I feel so honored to be given this task. I have gone through so much to be able to reach this space where I can offer this service, and it's only now, as I write this, that I feel that all the pain, sweat, tears, and blood (well, not literally!) have been worth it, even for just one single willing soul to take that further step into the Light in which we are all One. Namaste and happy awakening, my dearest sisters and brothers.
May 28-Everything that happens, all events past, present, and future, are gently planned by our Source, Whose only purpose is your good. His loving blessing shone in every step you ever took and will keep on shining as you journey home :-) all things are lessons to be learned, with all lesson plans made by our Inner Teacher.
